DiRTY RADiO - Numbers

Vancouver-based trio DiRTY RADiO, comprised of Shaddy (vocals), Tonez (keyboard) and Waspy (drums) have today unleashed their new single called "Numbers" which once again showcases their signature blend of pop music that fuses elements of future house and R&B.

Speaking on the track, DiRTY RADiO's own Waspy explains:

"We invited our friends Pat Lok and Ekali to come and work with us in our East Van studio and presented a group challenge: we would try and write as many song ideas as possible in a day and would never spend more than 45 minutes on something before moving on. Later that night, we listened back to everything we had done, and one idea in particular stuck out because Shaddy's rough vocal melody just seemed so infectious.... The lyric was 'you've got my number don't make me wait.'"

This isn't the first time the band has teamed up with Pat Lok. Most recently, DiRTY RADiO appeared on Pat Lok's track "Your Lips," which premiered on The Fader back in October.

Since the release of their first full-length album, Debut in August 2010, DiRTY RADiO have been making waves in the music industry. Their single "Heart Break Fantasy" was featured on BBC1 Extra's Mistajam Show and the recent collaboration "What You Wanna Do" with French producer Jean Tonique was also featured on the show and has so far garnered over 350,000 plays on SoundCloud alone.
